Description

On 30 September 2025 at 9:59 PM, an earthquake occurred at 11.09°N, 124.13°E — 17 km north 73° east of the City of Bogo, Cebu — with a depth of focus of 10 km (corrected to 5 km by PHIVOLCS). It was tectonic in origin and recorded a highest instrumental intensity of VI, experienced in Cebu City, Cebu, and Villaba, Leyte. Damage and aftershocks are expected.
